Description
A no-bake, creamy dip that tastes like New York cheesecake crossed with a salted caramel bar. It comes together in five minutes and is perfect for parties, holidays, or last-minute cravings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz (225g) full-fat cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup (60ml) heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 cup (120ml) caramel sauce
- 1/3 cup (30g) toffee bits
- Apples (such as Granny Smith), sliced for serving
- Extra caramel sauce for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the softened cream cheese into cubes and place it in a large mixing bowl.
- Add heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt to the bowl.
- Using a hand mixer on medium-low speed, beat the mixture until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
- Drizzle half of the caramel sauce into the bowl and gently fold it in with a spatula to create swirls. Do not mix completely smooth.
- Add the toffee bits and gently fold them in until distributed evenly.
- Transfer the dip to a serving dish and smooth the top. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce on top in a zigzag pattern and sprinkle with extra toffee bits.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Serve with sliced apples.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps. Do not overmix the caramel to maintain the swirl effect. The dip can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days. If it firms up too much, let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving. Avoid freezing as the texture may become grainy.
